El Consejo ha decidido esta medida para poder inspeccionar embarcaciones que podr\u00edan estar violando en el embargo de armas al pa\u00eds. Con la resoluci\u00f3n que se ha adoptado, con 14 votos a favor y la abstenci\u00f3n de Rusia, se renuevan las medidas para imponer dicho embargo de armas al pa\u00eds durante otro a\u00f1o m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>El 31 de marzo de 2020 se lanz\u00f3 la Operaci\u00f3n Mediterr\u00e1nea de Fuerza Naval de la Uni\u00f3n Europea (IRINI, por las siglas en ingl\u00e9s). Fue el resultado de la Conferencia de Berl\u00edn sobre Libia que ten\u00eda como objetivo supervisar el embargo de armas de las Naciones Unidas.
