Uno de los esfuerzos que ha mencionado Mufti ha sido el ofrecimiento de conversaciones de paz al gobierno de Sud\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>El viceprimer ministro y ministro de Asuntos Exteriores et\u00edope, Demeke Mekonnen, subray\u00f3 durante un discurso que las actuaciones de Etiop\u00eda seguir\u00edan en la misma l\u00ednea, \u201csin acometer ninguna atrocidad\u201d, se\u00f1alando que grupos terroristas, con base en Sud\u00e1n, han lanzado ataques contra Etiop\u00eda. Para Mekonnen la posici\u00f3n et\u00edope es clara: \u201cSud\u00e1n debe devolver el territorio de Etiop\u00eda y venir a las conversaciones de paz\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mofti ha subrayado que la pol\u00edtica exterior de Etiop\u00eda ha sido elaborada para fortalecer las relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas con los pa\u00edses \u00e1rabes vecinos en t\u00e9rminos de geopol\u00edtica, religi\u00f3n y cultura. Tambi\u00e9n se ha referido a la cuesti\u00f3n de la ayuda humanitaria en la regi\u00f3n del Tigray alegando que \u201cla ayuda se entregar\u00e1 mientras la gente de Tigray la necesite.
